Keep Your Mat Clean and Flat
Your mat is designed for regular play. Keep it clean and dry with these simple steps:
- After each game night, wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and residue
- For spots, use a small amount of mild soap and cool water — dab gently, do not scrub
- Let the mat dry completely before folding or rolling it for storage
- Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat
- Roll or fold the mat loosely to help prevent creasing
Do not machine wash, bleach, iron, or tumble dry your mat. These can damage the surface coating and edge binding.
Care for Your Tile Bag
Tile bags are made to carry your full American Mahjongg tile set. Treat them with care:
- Spot clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap as needed
- If your bag is personalized, take extra care around the monogram or name area — blot gently rather than rubbing
- Let the bag air dry completely before storing — never use a tumble dryer
- Store empty and unzipped to maintain the bag's shape
